Frequently Asked Questions
When and where is the wedding?
Our wedding day is Saturday, August 28th and will be in Tallahassee, FL. We look forward to joining one another in Holy Matrimony before God and all y’all.
Where will I stay and what will I do when I’m not at the ceremony or reception?
We have a room block reserved at a hotel near the reception venue, and there’s lots to do in The Big Bend part of the Florida Panhandle.
What are y’all doing about COVID?
We hope all guests can have peace of mind for a joyful, fun, safe, and comfortable wedding weekend. We will adhere to Leon County Florida Health Department and CDC guidelines, and continue to monitor the spread of the Delta variant. The best way to protect yourself is to get vaccinated.
As such, vaccinated guests could safely attend all wedding events mask-free, AND we ask you please be considerate of others.
In the case of unvaccinated guests, the bride and groom want all their guests to enjoy time with our friends and families. We encourage folks to be mindful of others’ health and wellness, and ask all guests respect the bride and groom and PLEASE wear a mask. Especially when you are around those more vulnerable to harsh infection. Remember, not all ailments, conditions, and illnesses are visible or obvious. Love thy neighbor as thyself.
What should I wear?
Our wedding ceremony and reception are both indoors and the dress code is Black Tie {White Dinner Jacket}. The Bride, Groom, Parents, “Grandparents”, Bridesmaids, and Groomsmen will be dressed to the nines, reach out to the couple or their mothers if you have questions. Please respect the bride and no white or cream colored dresses. Outside of that, most of y’all are from the South, and quite familiar with the sun and humidity of August.
May I take pictures?
We are so excited to see all the pictures you take throughout the reception. For our ceremony, we ask folks please refrain from using your cell phones so our amazing photographer and videographer can capture the best moments. We will be happy to share any and all pictures of our day! And we have basically claimed the Instagram hashtags you see below so y’all can post and tag throughout the this special weekend.
